An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join the this expanding Payroll Team. You will be working with the Payroll Team to prepare and check payrolls, adhering to deadlines and delivering exceptional service to their customers.
This is a Hybrid working role with 2 days in the office.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation and checking of high-volume weekly and 4 weekly payrolls to help ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.

Following detailed payroll checking procedures across all areas such as report production, payroll checking and correction, etc.

Working to set deadlines (e.g., weekly, four-weekly).

Maintaining an allocation of stores by processing information received from People and Culture teams and providing an excellent service to all our customers.

Learning and applying local country legislation and rules on calculating and entering company & statutory payments.

Administration of new starters and leavers.

Dealing with general enquiries from stores in a timely and efficient manner.

Administering pension deductions and assisting with pension correspondence and queries.

Gain the knowledge and process of calculating manual payments and repayments.

Learning new tasks associated with payroll processing and systems with a view to role development.

Administration tasks such as filing and post-sorting.

In due course, taking on additional responsibility for other tasks performed by the Payroll team (for example, international payroll support).
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities

2-3 Years‘ experience within Payroll.

CIPP or equivalent Payroll Technician Certificate would be desired, but not essential.

Motivated by ensuring high standards of performance and quality of work achieved.

Effective planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.

The expertise to identify risks & opportunities, and the confidence to present solutions in a methodical manner.
